General Qualifications:

Spiritual: All candidates must be born again spirit-filled Christians with a clear testimony of genuine salvation, and a calling to teach and minister to young children.

Academic & Professional: At least 2nd Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Education or any other discipline with professional educational qualifications (PGDE, PGCE and or Montessori Diploma) plus high quality experience in Early Childhood Education in reputable schools.

Personal Attributes: Lovers of children, role models with exemplary character and Christian leadership qualities, self-confident, creative, innovative, selfless, diligent, willing to make sacrifices and go the extra mile, strong team players, patient, single-minded, with positive attitude, drive, resilience, integrity, passion for excellence, long term orientation and a demonstrable desire to build a long term career with us.

Skills: Legible handwriting, excellent verbal and written English language communication skills, research skills, analytical skills, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, team spirit, IT proficiency in at least Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

 

Position-Specific Qualifications

 

 

Head Teacher – expatriate or Nigerian (resident or in Diaspora)

  • ​Minimum 15 to 20 years’ teaching experience, including at least 5 to 10 years in school leadership, some of which must be in Christian schools.
     

  • British and or any other International and Nigerian Curricula.
     

  • International work experience or exposure to international standards in truly International Schools in Nigeria.
     

  • Visionary, innovative, passionate, ambitious, next level-driven, and a proven track record.
     

  • A natural leader with inspirational and motivational leadership skills.
     

  • Outstanding entrepreneurial, managerial and administrative abilities.

​​Subject Teachers (Information Technology, Science, Music, French, Art & Design, Yoruba)

 

  • Same academic and professional qualifications as above with specialization in the relevant subject(s).
     

  • Minimum 5 years high quality teaching experience.
     

  • Deep experience in British and or any other International/Nigerian Curricula

 

  

Class Teachers

 

  • ​Same as subject teachers with proven experience as class teachers and ability to teach one or more specialized subjects, if so required.
     

  • Minimum 5 years high quality teaching experience

Assistant Class Teachers

  • Same as class teachers save teaching experience, which should be at least 2 years.

 

 

​​Sports Instructor

  • First Degree in Physical & Health Education and or any other professional qualification.
     

  • An all-rounder with experience of coaching school children in swimming, basketball, football, volley ball, badminton, lawn tennis, table tennis, etc.
     

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience.

 

​​Executive Assistant to School Director​

  • First degree in any Social Science, Liberal Arts, Marketing or Business Administration.
     

  • Minimum 5 years experience.
     

  • Secretarial and administrative skills.
     

  • Self-starter with excellent organisational and communication skills.
     

  • Basic knowledge of book keeping and accounts.
     

  • Versatile in the use of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel.

 

​​Front Desk Officer

  • First degree in any discipline.
     

  • Minimum 2 years experience in customer care.
     

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
     

  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint & Excel.

 

​​

School Nurse​

  • Paediatric Nursing certificate or General Nursing certificate with experience in Paediatrics or working with children.
     

  • Experience in managing a School’s Sick Bay is desirable, but not mandatory.
     

  • IT proficiency.

 

​​

Nursery Assistants​

  • Minimum qualification: Secondary School education.
     

  • Experience of working in Crèches / Day Care centres, school playgroups & nursery sections.
